Health Fair - October 18th (10am - 2pm)

The Health Fair is coming up soon...

Saturday - October 10th we will be meeting at the church building to go out into the neighborhood to pass out flyers. We will meet at 8:00am and go to 1pm. 
There will be doughnuts and water.

At the Health Fair on October 18th...

There will be health screenings and most will be free other checks will be offered for a really minimal cost. 

We are looking for people to be able to donate blood to the Red Cross during the Health Fair. The blood bank has gotten really low as a result of Hurricane Ike. If you are able and willing to donate, please contact either Chau Nguyen at 713-480-4118 or Matthew Bridges at 713-298-7679 or via email (bridges6055mg@yahoo.com).
The blood drive will be going on from 9am - 3pm the day of the Health fair.

We are also looking for people to volunteer to help canvass the neighborhood during the Health fair. Please contact Matthew Bridges regarding the Health Fair at 713-298-7679.

The Red Cross is still looking for more volunteers to help out - if you have gone through the training - you may either call and find out what is available or just show up at the center and go to the information table and find out where they need you at the address below...

Anyone needing housing due to the hurricane should contact the following numbers - also if you need to evacuate now because of loss of power, water, flooding or whatever, San Antonio and Dallas are willing and waiting. The Marriage Retreat 2008 has been RESCHEDULED to January 30th - February 1st of 2009.

All that have registered for the Marriage Retreat will be considered registered for the January 30th Marriage Retreat.

Refunds:
The Dinner Cruise registrations will automatically be refunded. All Dinner Cruise registrations done on the church website through PayPal have been refunded as of 9/13/2008.  You should see the refund credit back in your account within the next few days.

Your Marriage Retreat registration will be applied to the January 30th Marriage Retreat. If you would like to request a refund of this registration fee, please contact The Greater Houston Church office via email at maryangiejacobs@yahoo.com. All refunds should use this email link to request your refund. Note Dinner Cruise registrations will automatically be refunded and do not need to be requested.
